Kristin Silvestri does not wait to be chosen. She sent her own tape, flew herself to tryouts, and earned a place on The San Diego Waves in the Women's Professional Soccer League.

Later, in Los Angeles, she applied for an assistant designer role despite having no formal experience, was then promoted to run the business, and later launched a small batch brand that sold out in a week.

She is then invited to show at New York Fashion Week where she proves her eye for fashion is spot on and she has developed the goods to reflect it.

Back in Park City, when COVID threatens The Collective Park City, she pivots the business to an online store, then buys out her partners and takes full ownership.

Fashion is her armor for life, and her authority is earned through experience and perseverance.
